Philippine Nurses Association, Inc. (Pambansang Samahan ng mga Nars ng Pilipinas)

To promote professional growth towards the attainment of highest standards of nursing.

Mission:

1. Zealously provide strategic directions and programs that enhance the competencies of nurses to be globally competitive.
2. Passionately sustain the quality work life and collegial interactions with and among nurses.
3. Continuously strengthen the internal capacity and capabilities for quality care and services of the nurses.
4. Enthusiastically explore possibilities of collaboration towards unification of nurses. 

PNA Membership Classification

1. Regular Membership is conferred upon a nurse who has paid the required fee for the current year.

2. Life Membership is conferred upon a nurse who has been regular members for three (3) consecutive years and who shall have paid the required fees.

3. Honorary Membership is conferred upon a person who is not qualified as regular or life member but who has rendered distinguished service to the Association in the attainment of its goals subject to the approval of the Board of Governors.

4. Associate Membership is conferred upon nurses residing abroad upon compliance of requirements for membership.

Membership Benefits

1. Assistance and guidance on matters concerning socio-economic welfares and political rights of nurses.

2. Professional counseling and advice on "Rights of Migrant Workers" for nurses planning to work overseas.

3. Referral for technico-legal advice on administrative and labor cases whenever necessary.

4. Access to Continuing Professional Education (CPE) opportunities through seminars, trainings, workshops, conferences and other educational activities sponsored by the PNA.

5. Complimentary copies of the bi-annual issues of the Philippine Journal of Nursing (PJN).

6. Access to PNA library materials and information.

7. Linkage to PNA website: www.pna-ph.org.

8. Discounted rate in availing PNA dormitory.

9. Mutual Aid worth Php 12,500 for lifetime members and Php 3,000 for regular members.
